SAP's new Extended Contract Management functionality provides a standard contracts and billing solution platform to meet complex Government Contractor's billing requirements.

An alternative billing structure allows multiple Project System WBS Element assignments to multiple contract line items or CLINs. RRB supports Inception-to-date billing on cumulative basis. The solution further facilitates rate adjustments, funding limit control, and modification tracking, supporting the overall Government Contract Programs in Planning, Management and Execution, and Reporting.

Central to the solution is a SD Contract extension, which adds vital Government Billing required field sets and functionalities to the contract document database. Further enhancements in Resource Related Billing (RRB), harnessing the powerful SAP Pricing and Condition technique, complex government billing requirements are solved.
